The film shows the atmosphere of the place very well and can be a helpful introduction for trip organisers

Why it is worth showing this material to the group

The film lets participants quickly see the character of the place, the scale of the attractions and the atmosphere of a visit to Brama w Gorce.

It is a good material for schools, trip organisers, travel agencies and group leaders who want to show participants where they are going in advance.

Touring our Centre

Groups visiting Brama w Gorce Nature and Education Centre can choose a guided tour, during which the guide leads participants along a charming educational trail full of nature and regional facts.

Our guided tours are run for every age group — from the youngest explorers to adult enthusiasts of nature and history. We always adapt the programme to the participants, so that everyone can take as much joy, knowledge and inspiration as possible from the visit.

For groups that prefer to explore the forest at their own pace, there is also an option to walk with a specially prepared audio guide. This convenient solution lets participants immerse themselves in fascinating stories about the Gorce Mountains and the Podhale region in their own rhythm.

The best choice for groups that want to follow the route with an educator and enjoy stories adapted to the age of participants.

Nature workshops

We invite you to unique meetings with our educators, who reveal the beauty of Gorce nature to children, teenagers and adults in an inspiring way. It is not only an outdoor lesson, but an experience that awakens curiosity, develops mindfulness and helps participants better understand nature.

Participants of our activities

  • will discover fascinating ways animals orient themselves in nature
  • will learn how birds and insects find their way without a map or GPS
  • will learn to recognise selected animal species, mainly birds and insects
  • will combine discovering nature with elements of ecology and survival
  • will take part in engaging practical activities or create their own souvenir from Brama w Gorce

Mission. Navigation. We discover natural compasses in nature!

Have you ever wondered how storks can travel from Africa to Poland without a map or GPS? How does a capercaillie, a bee or an ant find its way back “home” after a journey into the unknown? Many animals carry fascinating natural compasses within their bodies.

We invite you to spring nature workshops, during which we combine discovering the secrets of nature with elements of ecology and survival skills. Together we learn to recognise selected animal species, mainly birds and insects, and discover the secrets of their migrations and navigation methods.

There will also be integration and good fun. The meeting ends with one of two activities to choose from.

  • engaging field activities with a compass and map that organise the acquired knowledge in a practical and active way
  • creative art workshops during which everyone can make their own souvenir from Brama w Gorce

Participants aged from 5 to 99. We adapt the level of the activities to the age and character of the group.

The workshop lasts 45 minutes.

The maximum group size is 20 people. For larger groups, we propose dividing participants into two groups.

Shared meal offer

A shared meal can be a great addition to the trip — whether the group prefers the relaxed atmosphere of a bonfire or the comfort of a restaurant table.

Bonfire with sausages

This is an ideal option for groups that enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and spending time together outdoors. Aromatic sausages, crispy bread, side dishes and warm tea create an atmosphere that supports integration and rest after an active day.

Lunch in the restaurant

For those who prefer comfort and a wholesome meal, we offer lunch in our restaurant. Homemade flavours, fresh ingredients and a calm space will help everyone regain energy and get ready for the next part of the fun.

Information about getting here

You can reach the place in two ways.

From the Nowy Targ side

There are private car parks there. From the nearest car park to us, about 1.2 km remains to be covered on foot. The access road ends at that point.

From the Waksmund side

There we recommend leaving the coach in the car park at Kościelna Street. We do not recommend driving a coach up to the facility because the road is narrow.

It is worth using the transport services of our Partner in the form of buses or the tourist train.

It is possible to reach the facility directly by bus for up to 30 people. You should drive through Waksmund, turn from the main road into Kościelna Street and continue uphill.
